    beginning as a collaboration on an old 8-track. Founding members and brothers Mike and Matt Jimenez liked what they heard, so much so that Mike (a member of California-based RUFIO at the time) stayed behind as the rest of his current band embarked on a tour with indie-punk staples ALKALINE TRIO in order to finish recording material with SCIENCE FICTION THEATER (Mike eventually caught up with RUFIO for their first gig on the tour). By adding bassist, Artie Marchain and drummer, Brian Marquez to the roster, the 4-piece was complete. The band brings that same homespun feel and dedication to their upcoming full length that they are currently recording with established producer Shawn Sullivan (The Mars Volta, Reel Big Fish, Buchanan)
